Last June when school was almost over I went to a Cops And Kids Fun Day. When I was there I saw a scoliosis specialist. She said I have scoliosis. My mom said that that it was impossible for a 7 year old like me to have scoliosis. So she took me to her chiropractor and he said that it’s unlikely for me to have scoliosis. So he felt my back and he was shocked. He made me take x-rays. And my spine is curved to 30 degrees. After a few doctors I came to Dr. Jones. He ordered a M.R.I. to see if I had Tethered Spinal Cord. My M.R.I. came out normal; except for scoliosis of course. Dr. Jones ordered a back brace, but that day my mom said let’s try a different chiropractor. So we did and the chiropractor said, ’’give me 6 months and if she’s not the same or better then you can do what you want.” My mom cancelled the back brace. I’ll keep you updated in 6 months. And 6 months is in June. Happy New Years! |
